Stars Shine at Cannes Premiere of “Sentimental Value”

CANNES, France — The red carpet sparkled with international stars on May 21, 2025, as the 78th Cannes Film Festival hosted the premiere of “Affeksjonsverdi” (Sentimental Value) at the iconic Palais des Festivals.

A host of well-known figures from the global film industry attended the glamorous event. Among them were Elle Fanning, Renate Reinsve, Stellan Skarsgård, and director Joachim Trier. They were joined by other notable names including Alexandre Mallet-Guy, Juliette Schrameck, Nathanaël Karmitz, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, Eskil Vogt, Anders Danielsen Lie, Maria Ekerhovd, and Andrea Berentsen Ottmar.

Also present were members of the Short Films Jury, led by president Nebojša Slijepčević. Jury members Maren Ade, José María Chema Prado, Camélia Jordana, and Marcus Green also walked the red carpet.

The evening marked a stylish and highly anticipated debut for “Sentimental Value,” drawing attention from across the international film community. With a mix of established stars and emerging talent, the premiere highlighted the global appeal and artistic energy of this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
